The Australian Government funds the Australian government Phd Scholarship and it is valued at over $143,881.

It covers both education expenses and provides a living-cost paycheck to support outstanding transnational  exploration scholars.

So, submission deadline Offers enters from:

  • Research Period 1 and 2, 2024 15 September 2023 24 November 2023.
  • Research Period 3 and 4, 2024 21 December 2023 29 February 2024. 
  • Research Period 1 and 2, 2025 13 September 2024 22 November 2024 
  • Research Period 3 and 4, 2025 17 December 2024 February 2025( Estimate). 

Australian Government Phd Scholarship Submission deadline 

The submission deadline refers to the date candidates will need to meet to be considered for an offer round.  Candidates who apply before the deadline for submission will be considered for an RTP education. Current HDR scholars will need to submit a separate operation by the submission deadline.

Current  scholars must  relate to the applicable submission deadline to be considered in the  forthcoming transnational round. For example, presently enrolled transnational scholars must submit their documents by December 21, 2023, to admit an outgrowth in February 2024. 

In addition, as part of your admissions operation, please  insure you submit all obligatory documents by the submission deadline. If you’re a prospective student and have been tagged to be considered for an RTP education,.

For  instance, if you wish to admit an RTP education  outgrowth in February 2024 and are commencing in  exploration period 3 or 4 2024, you’ll need to complete your submission by December 21, 2023. Any submission made after December 21, 2023, may have an impact on how your education program is viewed when it comes time for the upcoming transnational round in November 2024.

Who is Eligible for the Australian Government Ph.D. Scholarship?

So to qualify for the Australian Government Phd Scholarship, you must:

  • Be a commencing or enrolled transnational postgraduate student. 
  • Have an outstanding record of academic achievement and exploration potential (exploration publications are widely respected)
  • Be enrolled in a master’s program or a PhD program at the University of Sydney, or have an unequivocal offer of admission.

   Selection Criteria

  • The successful aspirant will be awarded education on the basis of academic merit and exploration experience.
  • Variety of high-quality exploration terrain and coffers to support the candidature.
  • The availability of highly qualified administrative arrangements to support the candidature. 
  • Preference may be given to aspirants who  identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, as per University of Sydney policy,
  • I haven’t preliminarily entered an Australian government or university scholarship to complete an HDR course at the same position.
  • Hasn’t preliminarily completed an HDR course at the same position of study. 
  • The successful aspirant will receive an award from the Education. by Advanced Degrees by Research Scholarships Sub-Committee ( HDRSSC) on the recommendation of the faculty. 
  • Lastly, the University of Sydney will notify aspirants dispatched to the pupil’s university dispatch address( for current scholars). Better still, it could be sent to the preferred dispatch address contained in the candidate’s application for admission.
