Eligibility Criteria for Indonesian Government Scholarship 2024
- Applicants must be 35 years old for master’s degrees and 40 for doctoral degrees.

- Non-English-speaking country applicants must have taken an English Proficiency Test within the last two years.

- Applicants are required to provide English Proficiency Test Scores as follows, achieved within the last 2 years: TOEFL ITP: 500; TOEFL IBT: 61; IELTS: 6.0; and TOEIC: 575. Exceptions apply for participants from English-speaking countries or those enrolled in English programs.
- Submission of a recommendation letter from either the Indonesian Embassy or Consulate General is mandatory.
- A recommendation letter from the employer or immediate supervisor (if applicable).

- Submission of academic certificates and transcripts from bachelor’s degree studies is mandatory.

- Statement of purpose in English or Bahasa, including study purpose, interest in Indonesia, chosen research topic, and academic future plan (dissertation proposal).
- English Proficiency Test Score required: TOEFL ITP of 530, TOEFL IBT of 71, IELTS of 6.0, TOEIC of 640 (obtained within the last 2 years). Exceptions apply for participants from English-speaking countries or those enrolled in English programs.
- A Recommendation Letter from either the Indonesian Embassy or Consulate General is required.
- A recommendation letter from the employer or immediate supervisor (if applicable).
